Angie Lanphier Bio
Hi! My name is Angie Lanphier. I have been teaching Special Education at Van Allen Elementary since August of 2011. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Iowa Wesleyan College in December 2010. In May of 2011, I received my Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of Northern Iowa. I became a special education teacher because I wanted to help struggling learners. Each day I try to show students the importance of using their strengths and to never give up on learning. I hold high expectations for my students and continually remind them that they can do anything if they work hard enough. I enjoy working with the staff and the families of Van Allen. When I am not at school, I love to spend time with family and friends and spending time outdoors.
