Stephanie Nudd Bio

Welcome fellow Panthers! I have had the privilege of working for the Mt. Pleasant School District since the 2007-2008 school year.
I was hired on to teach 4th grade at Van Allen Elementary. I taught the fourth grade for three years with Mrs. Breazeale and Mrs. Holtgrewe. My next experience was to switch to the fifth grade, also at Van Allen in 2010.
Prior to returning to the Midwest, I taught for seven years for the Queen Creek Unified School District in Queen Creek, Arizona. My teaching experience there consisted of teaching fifth grade for six years and also sixth grade Language Arts for one year. My very first teaching position was in my home town of La Harpe, IL, which proved to be a worthwhile yet challenging position. I felt blessed to be working with some wonderful teachers, who many of them happened to be my teachers growing up.
I have earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University and also a Master’s degree in Elementary Education with a Reading Specialist endorsement from Northern Arizona University.
My favorite past-times, besides being with my family, friends, and my dog are reading, watching movies, and craft projects. I also enjoy learning how to do new things, even if they are difficult in the beginning.
It is my pleasure to have the opportunity to have your child in my classroom and look forward to a fun-filled school year.
